Mae\u2019r Bwrdd Ymddygiad Gorfodi (ECB) wedi penodi asiantaeth ymchwil gymdeithasol arobryn MEL i arwain prosiect ymchwil casglu tystiolaeth newydd.


Mae angen dybryd am dystiolaeth o ansawdd uchel ar realiti gorfodi i'r rhai sydd wedi'i brofi. Bydd yr ymchwil hwn yn rhoi darlun cliriach i'r ECB o arferion stepen drws asiantau gorfodi.


Bydd gwaith maes ar gyfer y prosiect yn dechrau yn y Gwanwyn a bydd yn cynnwys adolygiad o'r fideo a ddewiswyd ar hap ar y Corff (BWV) a gymerwyd yn ystod ymweliadau gorfodi. Bydd y ffilm yn cael ei hasesu yn erbyn meini prawf trwyadl a ddatblygwyd mewn partneriaeth ag arbenigwyr ar draws y sector cyngor ar ddyledion a\u2019r diwydiant gorfodi ar feysydd allweddol megis methu ag ymateb i fregusrwydd neu gamliwio pwerau.


Cyhoeddir adroddiad llawn yn yr haf, a bydd yr ECB yn defnyddio'r canlyniadau i lywio datblygiad a gweithrediad ei gyfundrefn oruchwylio.
